Brenda Mallory created this exhibit to express her feelings toward her tribe, the Cherokee. She says that despite the ravages of war, both past and present, life through nature will continue to grow and thrive. Her exhibit displays nature: seeds and spores that continue to thrive throughout the centuries.

GPMA Permanent Collection and Curtis Otto Retrospective
February 17 - March 25, 2016

Photos by Mark Simonds

Grants Pass Museum of Art periodically spotlights specific treasurers from its Permanent Collection. This time we are sharing our exhibition space with a retrospective of artwork by the late Curtis Otto, displayed in a manner that Otto would have loved. The Museum exhibition committee is joined by Tommi Drake to curate these wonderful exhibits.

A special thanks goes to Alexender's Framing for referbishing and restoration of many of the pieces from this Permanent Collection.
